MI Abaga Reacts To Simi Condemning Internet Scammers (Yahoo Boys)

MI Abaga has reacted on the issue surrounding Simi and the criticism of internet fraudsters that is now a major topic in the music industry.

The rapper who is known for one time upholding the works of the yahoo boys has now taken his time to weigh in on the issue surrounding Simi and her yahoo boys comments. He took to his Instagram page to posit that in as much as internet fraud isn’t a good job to take up, people indulging in it should not be attacked as the situation of the country is what has pushed them to turn to that mode of getting to survive.

He said the energy used in condemning and criticizing the boys that indulge in “yahoo yahoo” should instead be used in voting out the leaders of this country who have made life difficult for the ordinary citizen. He said this same energy should be used to speak against people that orchestrate bad governance in Nigeria so that every young person would be able to survive as a result of following the right path and taking up jobs that is synonymous with “righteousness.”

He wrote; “In the spirit of uplifting our Queens.. @symplysimi I applaud your courage and your fortitude for speaking out on what you believe!!! The truth is that the scourge of internet fraud is hurting us more than it is helping us.. and please don’t misunderstand.. this country is so hard that I judge no man because I am imperfect.

“But we must not attack those that remind us of what we should be.. that energy is for us to vote.. us to speak out against our elected officials.. and for us to do a better job at lifting all young Nigerians so that they never have to turn away from righteousness to provide food to eat. We may be forced to eat with dirty hands.. but it doesn’t mean we should piss in clean water.”

MI’s view is regarding the Live Instagram Video Simi did over the weekend where she condemned internet fraudsters and also told them not to be patrons of her craft. The issue has since been escalated on social media as it has been drawing mixed reactions.

Niniola Excited As American Rapper, Drake Follows Her On Instagram

Queen of Afro-House; Niniola, would probably be in some really buzzing mood right now after Drake followed her on Instagram.

It’s really an amazing and unbelievable feeling when the people you usually look up to and see as idols now turn to be the ones who wants to have a relationship with you or better still recognise you for the potential and talent that you have.

This is definitely the case with Niniola as she excitedly posted news on her Instagram page just hours ago that shows her being followed on the social media platform by American rap superstar; Drake as well as writing a caption that welcomes the “God’s plan” singer to her world. She wrote; “Imagine Waking Up in the Morning to find out Drake Just followed U…Hmmmm Dis Isolo girl Sha!!!i followed back immediately @champagnepapi Welcome.”

This isn’t the first time Niniola would be follwed by an American star as she was last week followed by international music producer; Timbaland.

Adekunle Gold Reacts To Accusation That He Used To Work For Internet Fraudsters

Adekunle Gold has responded to an accusation made by an Instagram user that he used to edit documents for internet fraudsters (Yahoo Boys).

The accusation came up as a result of Simi chastising internet scammers over the weekend and telling them not buy her songs or stream her videos because she doesn’t want to be a party to illegal money. The remarks created a lot of controversy amongst young boys in the society as they cautioned her not to criticize anyone as she does not know what people do and how hard they struggle to survive.

It was Simi’s remarks that got some people angered and to allege that her husband; Adekunle Gold, used to be a party to internet fraud. An Instagram user tagged Mr Gold to ask if he’s seen what his wife said about yahoo boys and also told him to warn his wife not to make such statements again. He asked; “Dekunle hope you’ve heard what your wife said about yahoo boys?”

Adekunle responded in affirmation, asking what about it. yessir. Any problem?” he responded.

The user pressed further by asking him if he’s told his wife he used to work for internet scammers. “why don’t you let her know there was a time you used to edit documents for yahoo boys for their scam activities,” he said.

Adekunle then responded in a sarcastic form. He wrote back; “there was a time like that? how come i’m just finding out myself? wow!”

The guy then replied again to Adekunle Gold, telling him to caution his wife; Simi. “Because you never find it wrong then, until the dreams became different. Just tell your wife because she had the privilege doesn’t mean other people will, & she should not criticize anyone, let people reap what they sow, no damn human being is holy.

She should put her mouth on mic and make her music and not to people’s hustle affairs…Thank You.”
