Britney Spears checks into mental health facility amid dad’s illness 🎵, according to 'Page Six'

Britney Spears has been admitted to a mental health facility.

The pop star is receiving treatment amid her struggle to cope with her dad’s declining health.

“Britney Spears was having a hard time dealing with her dad’s health issues. Britney hasn’t been drinking or doing drugs or anything, she just has some very difficult emotional and mental health issues. She’s gone away to try with her issues before they get worse,” a source close to the Spears family told Page Six Wednesday.

“She has recently been showing signs of being under a lot of strain,” our source added, before pointing out that dad Jamie is “the support in her life.”

Britney Spears has been in the facility for about a week and is slated to stay for 30 days, TMZ reports.

Spears’ rep didn’t immediately get back.

Justin Bieber Says 'Sorry' After Pregnancy Prank On April Fool's Day Backfires

Justin Bieber and his wife Hailey Baldwin faced the wrath of social media after their pregnancy prank on April Fool's Day was criticised as "insensitive" by netizens.

A day later, the 25-year-old pop singer issued an apology of sorts on his Instagram, particularly directed towards those who were offended by his previous posts and not exactly for his prank. "There's always gonna be people offended, there's also people who don't take jokes very well, I am a prankster and it was April Fool's. I didn't at all mean to be insensitive to people who can't have children. A lot of people I know, their first go to prank on April Fool's is telling their parents they are pregnant to get a big reaction. But I will apologize anyway and take responsibility and say sorry to people who were offended," read an excerpt from his post.

"Some might have laughed but some were offended... I think with pranks you sometimes have to roll that dice," Justin Bieber added in his post, sharing the screenshot of an article headlined: "Justin Bieber slammed on social media for fake pregnancy news."

Bonucci Backtracks on Kean Racist Abuse Remarks

Leonardo Bonucci​ has taken steps to clarify his remarks on the racist abuse reportedly suffered by Moise Kean during Juventus' match against Cagliari.

“There were racist jeers after the goal, Blaise heard it and was angered," he said. "I think the blame is 50-50, because Moise kean shouldn’t have done that and the Curva should not have reacted that way.

“We are professionals, we have to set the example and not provoke anyone.”

Those comments brought out a strong set of reactions from player around the world, with Yaya Toure​ calling the comments "the worst scenario you can have in football – your team-mate attacking and saying things like that", while Raheem Sterling claimed "all you can do is laugh" in his response to Bonucci's comments.

The defender has not come out to clarify his remarks, saying he wants to "firmly condemn all forms of racism and discrimination" while claiming that his words have not been fully understood.
